After Lebanese librarians (from Tripoli and Beyrouth) ZINC, along with the international service and the libraries of Marseille welcome in June 2012, three school librarians from Alexandria – school libraries of St Marc, St Joseph and Mère de Dieu.

During three weeks, Safinaz El Antabli, Mirna Ayad and Safinaz Nabil will have a tight schedule : successive professional periods in several libraries of Marseille, schools and secondary schools. They will also improve their multimedia practice, through several workshops. Upon their arrival, on the 1st of June, they will follow the “digital culture” day, organized by La Ciotat, a town near Marseille, in partnership with ZINC and the secondary school Jean Jaurès.

Already involved in promoting reading, knowledge accessibility and school exchanges projects, the three librarians are willing to exchange about educational methods, get to know the cultural life of Marseille, discover the youth reading life, strengthen their professional relationship and then deepen the school exchanges projects.
