Welcome on MEDiakitab blog. This program aims at sharing information and ressources dedicated to reading and writing practices, from story telling to digital form, in the Euro-Mediterranean space.

MEDiakitab association, located in Marseille, is in charge of administrating the blog. Contents are a reflection of the activities, analysis and knowledge developped by the network members.

Pascal JOURDANA

Artistic director of La Marelle

Pascal Jourdana St-Nazaire © Sophie BassoulsPascal Jourdana is the artistic director of La Marelle, which is a place of writing residencies and literary programming in La Friche de la Belle de Mai. La Marelle work with the writers on artists’ retreats. They implement together production and dissemination of publishing projects, in France and abroad.

He has also been working as a litterary journalist (L’Humanité, Le Matricule des anges), a facilitator and literary advisor (Les Correspondances de Manosque, Étonnants Voyageurs à Saint-Malo, Salon du Livre de Paris, BPI Centre Pompidou, Paris…), and an external publisher. He codirected an issue of “le magazine littéraire”, named « La renaissance de l’utopie ». He was the editorial secretary of « La pensée de midi » magazine (from 2002 to 2004), and is the chief editor of « La première chose que je peux vous dire…». He was also a lecturer in Aix-en-Provence and Marseille university (DUT métiers du livre, Master médiation culturelle).
